Specialized Deep Foundation Solutions
STELCOR, the original Drilled-In Displacement Pile (DDM), was engineered to provide a high-capacity deep foundation solution installed with compact equipment, that minimizes mess and disruption.
By displacing soil instead of removing it, STELCOR eliminates hidden costs by removing the risk of undermining nearby structures and costly contaminated soil removal. Additionally, STELCOR can be installed with as little as 10 feet of headroom, without significantly impacting installation speed or complexity.

Why Chose Helical Piles?
Build on a Solid Foundation With Expedited Timelines and Reduced Risk
1
Speed of Installation
Their rapid installation process helps keep projects on schedule, minimizing delays caused by complex foundation setups.
2
Optimal Use of Equipment
Helical piles reduce mobilization costs signifigantly over comparable pile foundations.
3
Overcome Difficult Soil Conditions
Helical piles overcome unstable soil conditions while providing you with predictable capacities regardless of soil type.
Helical Piles
Helical piles, also known as screw piles, piers, and anchors are a deep foundation solution that transfers the weight of the structure to load bearing strata. They are most commonly used in applications where traditional foundation methods are inadequate due to poor surface soil conditions and to eliminate large excavations. They're efficiency and ease of use makes them a great choice for residential and commercial contractors looking for a cleaner, easier way to provide a solid foundation for their project.
Frequently Asked Questions
Helical Pile Loads
Helical piles can support loads up to 200 tons (440,000 lbs). Onsite load testing is required to verify capacity of the piles on your specific site. As the pile is installed, torque is monitored to verify capacity of the pile. For piles with a central shaft smaller than 3.5", the CCMC report can be used to calculate capacities.
Equipment Required
A complete helical installation package includes the following;
Excavator or Similar Equipment with Hydraulic Capabilities: Provides hydraulic power for the drive head and facilitates easy movement and alignment of the piles.
High-Torque Hydraulic Drive Head: The tool that applies the torque to rotate the pile into the ground.Mount: The connection from the drive head to your piece of equipment.
Drive Adapter: Connects the helical pile shaft to the drive head.
Torque Indicator: Monitors the torque applied to ensure the pile reaches the specified depth and load-bearing capacity. Available as PSI monitors or Calibrated torque monitoring devices.Pricing of Helical Piles
Helical piles range in price from $150 each to over $3000 each depending on their size and configuration. Some of the factors affecting price include depth, helix size, shaft size, site conditions, and number of piles on the job.
